Background information which may change the reader`s attitude to characters or even to the meaning of your idea has to be also provided.

Writing the Professional Biography/Narrative

The professional biography is a summary of who you are as a potential employee, graduate student, applicant for any number of fellowships, grants, and/or post docs. You will write a long biography—a least 250 words. The idea is to convince your audience that you are worthy of a position or award. This is the only assignment for this course in which you are permitted to use the first-person point of view—or I.
If you approach it as a narrative, remember, in general, the narrative essay tells a story. In this case, you will tell a coherent story of how you came to be interested in your discipline as a career. The topic of the narrative essay usually refers to your experiences, and there is no need to use any data from the outside sources.
In general, you will provide
an introduction
information about education and credentials
notable achievements
closing statement
This is merely a guide. You can get as creative as you would like. But remember: what you write should persuade the reader that you are what you say you are.

Other Considerations
Providing Information in First-Person
The narrative is very personal, so you should underline the significance of the ongoing events for your identity. That is why it is common to use “I” statements without switching a perspective in favor of another person.
Describing the Characters and Places
Even though it`s not a descriptive essay, try to adorn your story with vivid details of crucial objects mentioned in the plot. Especially, that goes for people who affected the outcome of the whole case; their personalities should be disclosed as comprehensive as possible.
Mention places serving as a location of where an action is held because it reflects the picture`s ambience. Background information which may change the reader`s attitude to characters or even to the meaning of your idea has to be also provided.
Adding a Little Spice
What a narrative without a zest! Dilute your smooth passages with a detail that will turn everything around. It may be antagonist character who is eagerly interfering with your purposes, an unpredictable twist and embarrassing ending or funny jokes and coincidences to break your audience out laughing.
Don`t Forget to Proof Read
After crafting the first , revise it thoroughly. You will definitely find one, two or a few rough spots while looking through your essay. Make sure you didn`t miss any important points.
Check grammar yourself or use some applications such as Grammarly.com or other services from Infographics below, but do not rely on them heavily;
Refine words. Make sure you are saying exactly what you mean to say.
Replace misspellings with correct words.

I’ve attached the essay that was graded to help you create a better essay. Ive also added the rubric and my instructors feedback on the essay I attached.
PROMPT: You will address the critical elements listed below which represent the last two sections of your final project. For this milestone your work will be graded using the rubric below, for your final submission in Module Seven your work will be graded using the rubric found in the Final Project guidelines and rubric document. The final project rubric adds a fourth column to the rubric which adds the expectation of a higher level of comprehension and writing. Therefore, if you receive a score satisfactory to you on your milestone assignments you will be expected to address any feedback from your instructor, as well as adding the depth asked for in the exemplary column in the Final Project rubric when you submit your final project.
Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:
I. Global Impact: So that the funder can understand the significance of the social problem, you will explain the local and global impacts using a sociological perspective.
A. Provide an example of how the social problem manifests itself on a local as well as global scale. In what other country or countries does this problem present itself and how?
B. Compare and contrast the existence of the problem locally versus globally. How is the way the problem exists locally similar to or different from the way it exists globally?
C. Based on your comparison of the local and global manifestations of the social issue, what conclusions can you draw about the influence of globalization on this specific social issue? How similar or different are the social issues and their repercussions, and what does that mean in relation to the impact of globalization?
D. Select a key sociological theoretical perspective that best explains why there are similarities and differences in how the social issue presents on a local and global scale, justifying your selection.
E. Apply your selected theoretical perspective to explain why there are similarities and differences in how the social issue presents on a local and global scale.
II. Potential Solution
A. Compare at least one successful attempted solution with at least one attempted unsuccessful solution to the problem. From your comparison, why
did the successful solution succeed, and why did the unsuccessful solution fail? Support your findings with resources from your own research.
B. Based on your previous research, what suggestion do you have for responding to the identified social issue? Specifically what do you suggest as an
action in responding to the social issue?
C. Explain why your suggestion is likely to be successful, substantiating with research. Explain how the suggestion takes into account your previous
RUBRIC:

Global Impact: Theoretical Perspectives

Global Impact: Apply Perspective
Applies selected theoretical perspective to explain why there are similarities and differences in how the social issue presents itself on a local and global scale
Potential Solution: Comparison
Compares at least one attempted solution that was successful with one that was unsuccessful and identifies factors contributing to the success or failure.
Potential Solution: Suggestion
Suggests response to the identified social issue based on previous research
Potential Solution: Successful
Explains why the suggestion is likely to be successful, substantiating with research
INSTRUCTOTS FEEDBACK:
Keep in mind that this is not a regular term paper, this is meant to be your ‘proposal’ to the Department of Health and Human Services. Also, If you haven’t already, you need to use the information I provided in the Announcement – Milestone One – Guidelines + Examples & TEMPLATE check out the Examples and watch the video so that you use the proper format for your proposal. All of that is an expansion of what is on the Guidelines and Rubric which you followed fairly well.
However,, you might want to add these bolded labels/titles to your paper to make it more effective. You did identify the main points but you should also identify each sub-point and cover each separately.
I. Introduction
II. Problem Description
A. Social Variables and Determinants – Local
B. Social Variables and Determinants – Global
C. Differences and Similarities of Social Variables and Determinants
III. Approach
A. Stereotypes
B. Your Analysis
C. Sociological Theory to Limit your Biases
Introduction: Good information and well-supported information. Please see the Overall Feedback for organizational feedback.
Problem Description: Local Variables and Determinants: Local information is well supported but you need to focus on local specifically in one paragraph and separated it from Global and Differences and Similarities.
Problem Description: Global Variables and Determinant: See comments in Local and separate things in different sections.
Problem Description: Variables and Determinants Differences and Similarities: See Local and Global feedback and then here you did have a separate paragraph – to cover the differences and similarities.
Approach: Stereotypes: Here you need to identify how people talk about this and provide some support.
Approach: Your Analysis: You briefly covered this but it is meant to be a self-analysis and explain how you developed those biases.
Approach: Limit Biases: You had some good information but here you need to identify which of the three theories you would use to limit the biases you identified in the self-analysis.
(The three theories are: Interactionist-The way one-on-one interactions and communications behave. Face-to-face interactions
Functionalist-The way each part of society functions together to contribute to the functioning of the whole.
Conflict-The way inequities and inequalities contribute to social, political, and power differences and how they perpetuate power.Competition for scarce resources; How the elite
control the poor and weak)

Said no one ever”. Write up a paragraph that relates what you have read in chapters 1 & 2 of the textbook to the mentioned quote, focusing on the challenges adolescents face and in turn how it can be difficult for parents.
